The differences between the Dutch language and English languages seem - I repeat - seem so small, we all think we know what we are saying inn English.
 
The apparant similarity in perception leads to many misunderstandings in lingual, cultural and, as we often see, political fields.
 
Thus simple conversations, may lead to confusion and misapprehension, which we consequently translate into a personal like or dislike of the person we are dealing with.
